Orders & Project Package:

The information provided on this website regarding the characteristics of the article(s) is prepared taking into account the information provided by our suppliers.

The images that accompany the products try to be as reliable as possible, however, the color tones of the images may appear different in reality as a result of factors such as lighting when capturing the image. It is the client's responsibility to verify if the selected item(s) have the appropriate dimensions for the space they are destined for, as well as if the respective accesses to the destination space allow its delivery. All and any adornment or decoration complement, namely, lamps, floral arrangements, mattresses, pillows, etc., present in the environmental images of the product(s), are not included in the price, except when expressly indicated.

The design service when contracted is accompanied by a service contract which is sent to the client by email and should be returned signed, in case it is not signed it serves as acceptance of the contract.

Order & Project Package Validation:

The order of articles placed by the customer will only be validated after the payment, for the first time, of the corresponding amount. In the case of a declined payment (ATM), where the customer has 48 hours to do so, his or her selection of items will only be reserved after payment has been made. As soon as the order is validated, the customer will be informed via e-mail.

The project package is only considered valid after the payment of the project adjudication.

Delivery forecast:

The delivery schedule for the Customer of the ordered item(s) is defined in the product order next to the description of the respective item, and may vary between items. Please note that this is only a forecast, however, VDG cannot be held responsible if the order cannot, for any reason, be fully or partially fulfilled within the estimated period. Custom-made furniture orders may have production delays for which the customer will be informed.

Customer home conditions:

The conditions of access to the customer's home, ceilings, walls or others where it is necessary to deliver, apply, place or assemble ordered items are the responsibility of the customer. Therefore, it should verify that the passage, handling and access to the delivery and assembly site is possible. If it is necessary to use scaffolding, cranes, firefighting magirus, other similar access platforms, and also the reinforcement of walls or ceilings, alteration of radiator or other sockets, the customer incurs the hiring and payment of the respective charges.

Warranty:

The warranty period for the products is 2 years, or more years when the producer or distributor of the article so guarantees it in writing.


The guarantee does not include, but is not limited to:

- Defects caused by misuse, incorrect cleaning, application of corrosive materials, dyes, paints or human and animal fluids;

- Damage caused by the incorrect use of the product;

- Natural products: for all those products in which natural materials are used in the manufacture, it is normal for different shades, knots, irregularities in the wood to occur, expansion and contraction in solid wood, variations in shades and color of fabrics, wrinkles, textures and scars in the skin. These are characteristics that beautify and identify a natural product and that normally make them never look the same. It is for these reasons that these inequalities cannot be considered a reason for complaint.

- Upholstery: with normal use, the upholstery often becomes softer, which should not be confused with changes in the firmness of the materials;

- Furniture: with sun exposure, heat and smoke emitted from fireplaces, stoves or the like, it is usual to have a change in the color and brightness of the products, which cannot be a reason for complaint.

- There may be variations in the product measurements of (+/-) 3 cm, without being considered a defect.


After-Sales Assistance: In the event of an anomaly of the item within the warranty period, the customer must contact the store where he made the purchase and later he will be informed of the procedure to be followed by VDG to provide the necessary assistance, taking into account the specificity of the product defect reported.


In the event of an anomaly after the warranty period, the customer can contact VDG so that the after-sales service can issue a technical opinion and repair quote, if applicable. After the customer approves the quote, the product will be repaired.

Recommendation for use:

  - The customer must not use cleaning products such as: corrosives, solvents, acids or alcohol;
- Articles of furniture and upholstery, and unless otherwise stated, must not be exposed to heat sources (sunlight, heaters, radiators, etc.) recommending a minimum distance of 50cm;
- The customer must respect the instructions indicated in the fabric catalogs, namely in the fabrics that contain “aqua clean” treatment or waterproofing. In case of stains, remove with absorbent paper or a white cloth, then use a cloth moistened with a neutral detergent;
- In natural leather products, we recommend the periodic use of moisturizer in order to maintain the color level and avoid streaks or cracks in the coating.

Return or exchange of items:

After receiving the order, the customer has 14 days to return it.
After the return is made, the customer will be notified with confirmation of receipt via email.
The refund inherent to the return of the item, will be made using the same payment method that was used to make the purchase.
The refund will be made within 30 days.

Property reservation:


Until full payment of the price of the goods (s) ordered, full ownership of them will remain in the exclusive ownership of VDG, transferring to the customer only after the payment has been made.
Until the total payment, the client will hold the goods in question, as possessor in another's name (art. 409º Civil Code).

Litigation:

To resolve any emerging disputes, the jurisdiction of Loulé, Portugal is competent.

All written communications from VDG or its agents to which the customer is addressed will be made by sending a simple letter (not registered) to the above address or headquarters, which are expressly stipulated as those in which the parties will be domiciled of this contract for all purposes, namely those of service in legal proceedings, without prejudice to its supervening amendment, which must be communicated to VDG within a maximum period of 30 days from the respective verification, by registered letter with notice of reception.
